6 Ways to Stay Cool in Miami's Summer Heat

It is a typical summers Saturday here in South Florida. Our days are hot and sultry. Often, mid-day we get a cool day with a summer shower. These "cool downs " typically bring our temperatures down ( slightly!). In the summer this temperature can range from 75F to 90R ( 24C to 32C).

Today, mid day, before the shower to cool us down the temperature has climbed to 95F (35C).

So what is a person to do? How do you keep cool in the summer heat of Miami?

Here are our suggestions:

1.Run( do not walk!) to the Atlantic Ocean where the water temperature is 85F/29C.

2. From your vacation rental in the IOS on the Bay  take the elevator down to the pool.

3. Grab a good book and a cool drink and go undercover- an umbrella that is at the Shelborne South.

4. Wet your palette with a "home grown" Mojito.

5. Cool down on Lincoln Road.

6. Water ski in Biscayne Bay.

We hope you enjoyed (and cooled down) our brief look at ways to stay cool in our fantastic city of Miami. See you at the Beach!
